Kahului Airport pickup details
Minivans are often the easiest choice when everyone lands together at OGG. Build in time for baggage claim, child seats, stroller loading, and grocery stops, then call if the flight arrival window changes.
Passenger and baggage fit
Current minivan listings seat 7 passengers. Premium minivan inventory is listed with up to 8 total bags, while older mini van classes list less cargo room, so match the class to both your passenger count and suitcase count.
Best Maui use cases
Choose a minivan for Wailea and Kaanapali resort transfers, family beach days in Kihei, grandparents traveling with kids, and multi-stop days where sliding doors and flexible seating make parking lots less frustrating.
Rental restrictions to confirm
Every reservation has a five-day minimum. Renters and additional drivers must be at least 21, and a $10.00-per-day surcharge applies to drivers ages 21 through 24. The renter must bring a valid major credit card in their own name and proof of full-coverage insurance; debit cards are not accepted. Confirm child-seat needs, roof-rack or watersports plans, and whether a specific model is guaranteed before booking.

Practical answers for comparing this Maui rental option before you check live dates and rates.
Do Maui minivan rentals seat 7 passengers?
Many Maui minivan classes seat up to 7 passengers, with cargo space varying by specific class.
Which minivan should I choose for the most luggage?
Start with the premium minivan options when luggage space is the priority, then confirm the exact class available for your dates.
Are minivans good for Maui family beach days?
Yes. Sliding doors, flexible seating, and a lower load height help with beach bags, groceries, strollers, and repeated short stops.
Can I guarantee a specific minivan model?
Vehicle classes may include example models rather than a guaranteed exact unit. Call before booking if a specific model or feature is required.
